An interesting forthcoming two-hour workshop and exhibition for students
Find out how simple, everyday objects have the power to change people’s perceptions and ideas!
Tell stories about gender identity, gender fluidity and challenge gender stereotypes through objects while learning how objects can transform a viewer’s perception, emotions and logic.
Join Diana Georgiou, one of the co-curator’s of the forthcoming Transitional States: Hormones at the Crossroads of Art and Science, as she leads this workshop where you will learn how to create displays to feature in art exhibitions.
Bring along your own items that express how you feel about gender and sexuality, fluidity and gender stereotypes, or just take part.
Participants’ creations will feature alongside the exhibition at Project Space Plus at the University of Lincoln throughout February 2018.
- Date: Thursday 30 November
- Time: 5-7pm
- Venue: MC3204
